About Pokey Prizes
What is Pokey Prizes?
Pokey Prizes is a UK-based prize draw platform created for Pokémon TCG collectors. We run competitions for sealed products, graded cards and other Pokémon TCG collectibles, with a genuine free postal entry route available for every competition.
How does Pokey Prizes work?
Choose a live competition, enter through the paid checkout or free postal route, and receive a unique ticket number for every confirmed entry. When the competition reaches its draw, one ticket is selected from the locked eligible entry pool using a cryptographically secure random process.
What prizes can I win?
Prizes focus on the Pokémon Trading Card Game and may include factory-sealed products, booster boxes, premium collections, graded cards and collectible bundles. The exact prize, condition and advertised retail value are shown on each competition page.
Is Pokey Prizes legitimate?
Pokey Prizes is a UK-based prize draw platform offering a genuine no-purchase-necessary postal entry route. Competition details, ticket availability, draw information, winners and draw audit records are published on the platform.
Who can enter Pokey Prizes competitions?
You must be aged 18 or over, live in the UK and have a registered, verified Pokey Prizes account. Additional eligibility requirements, if any, will be shown in the relevant competition terms.
Do I need to create an account to enter?
Yes. An account is required for both paid and free postal entries so we can verify eligibility, allocate tickets, show your entry history and contact you if you win.
Is there a minimum age to enter?
Yes. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or enter a Pokey Prizes competition.
Can I enter if I live outside the UK?
No. Pokey Prizes competitions are currently open to UK residents only.
Entering Competitions
How do I enter a competition?
Sign in, open a live competition, choose the number of entries you want and complete checkout. You can also use an eligible Bonus Vault entry or follow the free postal entry instructions shown on the competition page.
How much does it cost to enter?
The price per paid entry is set separately for each competition and is displayed before checkout. The free postal route has no entry charge, although you are responsible for the cost of postage.
How do I choose my entry numbers?
Ticket numbers are allocated automatically when your entry is confirmed. This prevents the same number being assigned twice and ensures every paid, Bonus Vault and accepted postal entry joins the same eligible pool.
Can I enter the same competition more than once?
Yes, while paid tickets remain available and you stay within the per-customer limit shown on that competition. Once all paid tickets are allocated, the competition closes immediately to all new entries.
Is there a maximum number of entries I can buy?
Yes. Each competition can have its own per-customer entry limit. Your basket and checkout will prevent you from exceeding the applicable limit across your confirmed and pending entries.
Where can I see my entry numbers?
Your confirmed ticket numbers appear in your Account Hub, grouped by competition. Paid order confirmations and accepted postal-entry notifications also include the relevant ticket numbers.
Can I cancel or change my entries after purchasing?
Confirmed competition entries cannot normally be changed, transferred or cancelled because ticket numbers are allocated immediately. If Pokey Prizes cancels a competition, eligible paid entries are refunded in line with the Refund Policy.
What happens if my payment fails?
No paid entries are issued for an unsuccessful payment. We will show and send a payment update, and any temporary ticket-capacity hold will be released so you can try again.
When is my entry confirmed?
A paid entry is confirmed after the payment provider reports a successful payment and your ticket numbers have been issued. Bonus Vault entries are confirmed when redemption succeeds, and postal entries when the received QR code has been checked and processed.
Can I enter for free?
Yes. Every open competition provides a genuine free postal entry route with the same chance of winning per accepted entry as any paid or Bonus Vault entry. QR downloads close when paid tickets sell out.
How does the free postal entry route work?
While a competition is open, sign in, generate the competition-specific QR code, print it and post it to the address shown on the Free Entry page. When paid tickets sell out, no further QR codes can be downloaded. A QR already posted can still be accepted if it reaches us within 24 hours of sell-out, or before the advertised draw if that is sooner. Codes are single-use and must arrive in time.
Draws & Winners
How are winners chosen?
At draw time, the eligible ticket pool is frozen and one ticket is selected using a cryptographically secure random number generator. Paid, Bonus Vault and accepted postal entries are treated equally.
Are the draws random?
Yes. Winner selection uses a cryptographically secure random process applied to the locked ticket pool. The published audit hash protects the integrity of the recorded draw details, but it is not described as making the random selection reproducible.
When will a competition be drawn?
The scheduled draw date and time are shown on the competition page. Entry closing time and draw time may be different, so check both details before entering.
What happens if all entries sell before the closing date?
When all paid tickets are allocated, the competition closes immediately. No further paid, Bonus Vault or new postal QR entries can be accepted. A postal QR already sent can still be accepted if it is received within 24 hours of paid-ticket sell-out, or before the advertised draw if that is sooner. The advertised draw date and time do not change.
What happens if a competition doesn't sell out?
The competition remains open until its published entry closing time, then the draw takes place at the advertised date and time. If Pokey Prizes cancels a competition, eligible paid entries are refunded in line with the Refund Policy.
Where can I watch the draw?
Live-draw details and viewing links are shown on the competition page. Major draws may also be broadcast through Pokey Prizes social channels, with results and available recordings published afterwards.
How will I know if I've won?
Your account will receive a winner notification and we will contact your registered email address. If you have enabled browser push notifications, you may also receive a privacy-safe draw update on your device.
Do I need to be watching the draw to win?
No. Your confirmed entry remains eligible whether or not you watch the draw. We will contact the winner using their registered account details.
Where are winners announced?
Results are published on the competition and winners areas of Pokey Prizes after the draw. Public winner details use the platform username rather than a first name.
Can I see previous winners?
Yes. Completed draw results and previous winners are available from the Winners area, subject to any privacy or verification requirements.
How can I be sure the draws are fair?
All eligible entry routes share one locked pool, winner selection uses secure randomness, and the result is recorded with ticket and audit information. Draw controls and any authorised redraw are also recorded for review.
Can Pokey Prizes employees or their families enter?
No. Employees, contractors, directors, immediate family members and third parties involved in operating a competition are not eligible to enter that competition.
Winning a Prize
What happens if I win?
We notify you through your Pokey Prizes account and registered email address. You must complete the secure prize-claim process, confirm delivery details and provide any eligibility evidence requested for the prize.
How long do I have to claim my prize?
You must complete the winner claim form within 14 calendar days of being notified.
What happens if you can't contact the winner?
If the winner cannot be contacted or does not complete the claim process within 14 days, a reserve winner may be selected using the same secure draw method.
Do I have to pay anything to receive my prize?
Standard insured delivery to an eligible UK address is included. We will never ask you to pay an entry-related charge to release a prize.
How will my prize be delivered?
Prizes are securely packed and sent to the UK address provided during the claim process using Royal Mail Special Delivery or an equivalent tracked and insured courier. PO box delivery is not available.
Is delivery included?
Yes. Standard tracked and insured delivery to an eligible UK address is included with the prize.
Can I collect my prize instead?
Collection is not the standard fulfilment method. If collection is suitable for a particular prize, it must be agreed with Pokey Prizes during the claim process and appropriate identity checks will still apply.
Can I choose cash instead of the advertised prize?
Not as standard. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or another prize unless Pokey Prizes expressly agrees in writing.
What happens if my prize is damaged in transit?
Keep the item and all packaging, take clear photographs and contact Support as soon as possible. Shipments are insured, and we will investigate with the courier and arrange the appropriate remedy.
Pokémon TCG Prizes
Are all Pokémon products genuine?
Yes. Pokey Prizes lists genuine Pokémon TCG products and checks prizes before a competition opens. Any relevant authentication or certification information is included on the competition page.
Are your Pokémon products factory sealed?
Products advertised as sealed are checked as factory-sealed when listed. If a prize is opened, unsealed or has any notable packaging condition, that will be stated in its competition description.
Where do you source your Pokémon TCG products?
Prizes are sourced through established retailers, distributors and trusted collectible-market channels. Pokey Prizes verifies each item before listing it and physically holds the advertised prize before the competition opens (unless stated otherwise on the competition details page).
What condition will my prize be in?
The expected condition is described and photographed on the competition page. Sealed products may show normal factory or transit variation, while graded cards are supplied in the certified holder identified in the listing.
Are graded cards authenticated?
Yes. Graded-card competitions include the grading company, grade and certification details where available so the certification can be checked independently.
Which grading companies do you use?
Many Pokey Prizes graded-card competitions feature PSA-certified cards. If another recognised grading company is used, it will be clearly identified on the individual competition page.
Will the exact product shown in the competition be the one I receive?
Yes, where the listing identifies an individual graded card or photographed collectible. For sealed mass-produced products, the winner receives the same advertised product and configuration, although minor packaging variations may naturally occur.
What happens if a sealed product has a manufacturing defect?
Factory contents and manufacturing defects are controlled by the manufacturer rather than Pokey Prizes. Contact Support with photographs and packaging details and we will help identify the appropriate manufacturer or retailer process.
Are Pokey Prizes competitions affiliated with Pokémon or Nintendo?
No. Pokey Prizes is an independent prize draw platform and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Game Freak or Creatures.
Payments & Account
What payment methods do you accept?
Available payment methods are shown in the secure hosted checkout. Major credit and debit cards are supported through Trust Payments; any additional wallet options will appear at checkout when available.
Is my payment information secure?
Payments are handled through Trust Payments hosted checkout. Pokey Prizes does not store your full card details on its own servers.
Where can I see my previous entries?
Open your Account Hub and view your entries. They are grouped by competition and include your confirmed ticket numbers and draw status.
I've paid but can't see my entries - what should I do?
First refresh your Account Hub and check that the payment completed successfully. If the entries still do not appear, contact Support with the order reference from your payment confirmation so we can investigate.
Can I change the email address or details on my account?
You can update supported profile details from your Account settings. Some sensitive changes may require verification or assistance from Support to protect your account.
I've forgotten my password - what do I do?
Use the Forgotten Password link on the sign-in page. We will email a time-limited reset link to the registered address if it matches an account.
Can I have more than one Pokey Prizes account?
No. Each customer may hold one account only. Multiple accounts or accounts operated on behalf of other people may be suspended, with associated entries or prizes reviewed under the Terms.
Bonus Vault / Promotions
What is the Bonus Vault?
The Bonus Vault stores additional competition entries earned through eligible purchases, referrals and promotions. Bonus Vault entries have no cash or monetary value.
How do I unlock Bonus Vault rewards?
Complete an activity that offers a Bonus Vault reward, such as meeting the configured purchase threshold for an eligible competition or qualifying for a referral or promotion. The reward is added automatically once the activity is confirmed.
What kind of rewards can I get?
The Bonus Vault provides additional entries that can be redeemed on eligible competitions. Each available reward shows its quantity, origin, eligibility and expiry information.
Do Bonus Vault rewards expire?
Yes. Bonus Vault entries expire six calendar months after they are earned. The oldest-expiring eligible entries are used first, and we send a reminder when an unused reward enters its final month.
How do promotional codes work?
Enter a valid promotional code during checkout. The code may apply the discount or reward described by that promotion, subject to its eligibility dates, usage limits and competition restrictions.
Can I use more than one promotional code?
Only one promotional code can be applied to an order unless a specific promotion clearly states otherwise.
Do free or promotional entries have the same chance of winning?
Yes. Every confirmed ticket has the same chance of being selected, whether it came from a paid purchase, an accepted postal entry, a Bonus Vault redemption or an eligible promotion.
Trust, Fairness & Legal
Are prize competitions legal in the UK?
UK prize competitions can be operated lawfully when they follow the applicable rules, including providing a genuine free entry route. Pokey Prizes provides free postal entry for every competition. Full participation rules are set out in our Terms and Conditions.
How does Pokey Prizes ensure competitions are fair?
Competition capacity and customer limits are enforced, all confirmed entry routes join the same pool, the draw uses secure random selection from a frozen ticket snapshot, and draw and administrative actions are recorded for audit.
How are entry numbers generated and recorded?
Each confirmed entry receives a unique ticket number within its competition. Ticket allocation is stored against the customer, order or free-entry record and becomes part of the locked draw snapshot.
Can a draw result be changed or redrawn?
A valid published result cannot simply be changed. A redraw is restricted to an authorised response to a verified technical problem or other condition allowed by the Terms, and the reason and action are recorded.
What happens if there is a technical problem during a draw?
The draw is paused or marked for review rather than forcing a result. The frozen entry pool and audit records are preserved. If the original selection cannot be validated, an authorised redraw may be conducted and documented using the same secure method.
How do I make a complaint?
Contact Pokey Prizes through the Support page with the relevant competition or order details and a clear description of the issue. Complaints are recorded and handled through the platform complaint process.
Where can I read the full Competition Terms & Conditions?
The full Terms and Conditions are available from the Terms link in the site footer. You should also read the details and any specific conditions shown on the competition page before entering.
How does Pokey Prizes use my personal information?
We use account information to operate entries, payments, eligibility checks, draws, notifications, support and prize fulfilment. Details about legal bases, sharing, retention and your rights are set out in the Privacy Policy.
How can I contact Pokey Prizes?
Use the Support page or email play@pokeyprizes.com. Include your account username and any relevant competition or order reference, but never send passwords or full payment-card details.
